Top 5 Markets to List a Home in the U.S.:
The “when” decision of marketing a property can make the difference between a listing that moves at the speed of light and one that’s doomed to linger on the market for seasons to come. To help you hone in on when you should advise your clients to list, our data team looked at search trends across the U.S. by month.
Here’s a short list of the regions and states to get the most exposure this June:
1. South Atlantic
If you’re in these South Atlantic states, the weather is not the only thing that will heat up this March. In these four states, buyer search activity will hit its peak for the year.
• Delaware
• Maryland
• Virginia
• Georgia
2. Peaks in the (Mountain) Peaks
This June, it’s peak listing time in a good portion of the Mountain time zone. These are the hottest states in the Mountain region this June.
• Arizona
• Idaho
• Nevada
3. Central Spike Zones
In the Central region, search activity isn’t at it’s peak everywhere. But for sellers who are on the fence, now is the perfect time to list in the following states.
• Michigan,
• Ohio,
• Kentucky,
• Iowa
• Missouri
• Nebraska
• Oklahoma
4. The Lonely New England State
In most of New England, the search peak hits later in the year. If you’re working markets in Massachusetts, however, now is your time to list.
5. The Pacific Corners (North and South Pacific)
The two hottest spots in the Pacific time zone are it’s corners; California and Washington.
But with states so large, there could be quite a few optimal times to list. So, how do you figure out the perfect listing time for your neighborhood? Call MLSLincolnWestonRealty today and we'll provide you with the right answers.
